Going into trance and doing inner work is not difficult. In fact, when an issue is cleared, there often is a great sense of lightness of being that comes at the end of a session and is carried on and integrated into a person’s daily life. The work that I have done in my self and that I do as a practitioner has been and is always a true adventure, like going to a movie where you may know some or a few of the actors, but are very unaware of the plot or script, yet the unfolding of events and the ending is always a wonderful surprise.
Another view is that the release process that happens in hypnotherapy sets constricted or clouded areas within the subconscious free and makes clearer the window of that area so that the Light that is in you can shine easily. And I am not only speaking here in metaphor. This experience you can actually feel and see in your life. People you perceived as enemies before the healing become non enemies or even friends. The results are often quite dramatic. Days that were filled with fear or apprehension or depression become days filled with joy and creativity.
The type of hypnotherapy that I do is profoundly effective and takes a significantly shorter period of time for a client to realize healing around an issue than in traditional talk psychotherapies. In fact, most people spend thousands of dollars on 45 minute hours of traditional talk therapy with no change in their experience of themselves whatsoever. That is because the process of many psychotherapies inadvertently promotes the existent state of the client in terms of their “entrancement” with their current “movie”, their dualistic thought processes, and reflections they are unconsciously attached to and believe are real. On the other hand, the inner work of effective hypnotherapy is about the removal of the causes which drive such patterns which may have been laid in this life or another.
Some hypnotherapists may use hypnosis as a “management tool” where one learns to control anxiety, addictions, depression, or other symptoms. Some psychotherapists may apply the techniques of “behavior modification” and psychiatrists may prescribe to manage certain symptoms. However, the deep clearing in the subconscious mind that arises through the tools that I apply facilitates the client’s healing both the causes and the symptoms all together. (This does not preclude the appropriate application of different “management tools”, however.)
If you seek true healing and relief from a life conflict, emotional ailment, or condition, then you want to know that whomever you go to will facilitate a process that works. Of course the best source of information on who does a therapy that will work is found through friends or acquaintances who have experienced life changing healings while working with a particular practitioner. Their testimony may be enough.
If you have no such referral, then asking about the therapist’s length of experience using hypnotherapy may lead you to a sense of her/his competence and confidence in their skills and capacity to facilitate and be a catalyst for healing. Ask them if people heal when working with them. Be direct. Then listen to how they describe their work and then listen to your self and your own inner response to the person. Trust your Self.
The first session is usually 2 hours. Subsequent sessions are 1 ½ hours minimum to 3 hours. Some clients choose to work longer periods. By the end of assessment and the first session, I generally will have a sense of direction for a case plan for the client though I may not know how many sessions may be appropriate.
Another factor in the number of sessions may be the desire of the client to move in their growth beyond just the healing of the causes of the issues presented at the beginning of therapy. Often this work leads into a conscious spiritual pathway where one was not acknowledged before. So if the client chooses to pursue this in a deliberate way, my work can expand easily to assist them in meeting their broader and deeper spiritual goals. This can include training in specific spiritual tools ( that may lead to direct experiences of their own Divinity) Teaching, facilitation in spiritual initiation, and Realization of the Self.
No! It is actually surprisingly simple and straightforward in application and in the experience of the client. For the released earthbound entities,(folks that died and left their bodies, but have not gone into the Light or Heaven worlds) it can be joyful and fulfilling, no matter what their experience at their death or during the attachment to the client. For other non human forms of dark attachments that have their own consciousness it is very often a transformative experience. This is not like the movie, The Exorcist, where the authors of the movie wanted us to be scared and where the story was about fear and not Love. Spirit Releasement is about Love and the Light. Energies and beings that are attached are transformed and any fear that existed on the part of the client is literally dispersed and dispelled.
